RootX is a powerful foaming chemical that destroys roots that enter your pipe. Over time, the roots can take over your pipes, which will cause backups and slow draining. If you notice the problem early enough, you can prevent costly repairs associated with repairing your pipes.

The best way to start a maintenance program is to snake your drain line and apply RootX within 24 hours. We suggest snaking the drain your first time because it will destroy what it can touch. After snaking the drain, RootX will come in and destroy everything else. It is also recommended that you use RootX yearly.

To learn more about RootX vist www.rootxcsp.com. You can also purchase RootX from this site.

Trees are pretty, trees help our environment and are great for making forts. However, having tree roots in your pipes makes you want to chop down every tree in the world. Funny how that works. Some times running a plumbing snake through your drain pipes will clear the mess up. However, this is usually temporary and you will have to clean the pipes when the roots grow back. The worst case scenario is you have to dig up your yard to repair the pipes. It’s a pain and can cost a lot. That is why maintaining your pipes is the way to go. If you wait for the roots to take over your pipes, replacement will probably be your only option. Drain cleaning doesn’t have to be on your mind all the time, but you should maintain every once in awhile. We highly recommend RootX for preventing the dreaded costly repairs. If you notice any change in flow, you should immediately look into the issue to prevent any further damage. Prolonging the drain issue will only cost you more money down the road.

As a plumber, I see horror stories all the time. Homeowners luckily do not experience this all the time. If it does happen, the memories will last a long time! Trust me, I have one story in my head that will never go away. It was a sewer back up issue. I’m not going into any details because I would like to eat today. You will probably appreciate it as well. Anyway, I’m wondering if anyone has any stories that you would like to share to help others. The one thing I did notice is that every customer that has a horror story now has a maintenance program for their drains. What does that tell you? It means you should put in a little work so a horror story doesn’t happen. The attitude “That will never happen to me” can be risky! And I’m speaking from experience .

Back in the college days I remember taking a shower that eventually turned into a bath. 30 seconds into the shower, the drain would slowly backup. It was a way of life. Looking back on the days, I wonder what was I thinking? We would let the issue go for weeks until we finally called a plumber. When the problem was fixed, taking a shower felt clean again. Being a plumber, I know the importance of drain cleaning. Not only does it make living more sanitary and “right,” but it helps in keeping your water flow in good condition. Kind of like keeping your body healthy. Maintenance is the best way for prevention. Whether you clean your drain on your own or hire a professional, we recommend a regular “checkup” just to make sure everything continues to work properly. If you would rather take a chance and not clean the drain regularly, you could run into costly repairs. Trust me, I have seen it all. Horror stories that could have been prevented from a little maintenance. No matter what causes your drain issue, whether it’s excess hair, food, a toy or even tree roots, attending to the issue at the first sign is best way to prevent further damage or annoyances. I’ll repeat it one more time… the best way to prevent issues is to have a drain cleaning routine!
